New York, thank you for a super stay the previous weekend, everything in walking distance! Overnights in Charly's stellar airbnb room near Times Square; and in the daytime the APAP music conference in the great, hospitable @NYHiltonMidtown where I saw many special showcases and also spread many folders and flyers for myself and the Dutch @WorldMusicForum and made & received requests for performances for my bands. Also I was able to network during two receptions, thrown by @DutchCultureUSA In addition I attended two days of world music pre-conference panels by @dmitrivietze & Rock Paper Scissors Since New York, I did a special performance this past Friday with the Afro-Semitic Experience in Philadelphia in honor of Doctor Martin Luther King #MLKDay2015; and this coming Saturday, the 50th birthday concert of Warren Byrd, premiering previously unheard works at the Buttonwood Tree, Middletown, CT, USA I like to look forward to new bookings, don't hesitate to approach me for a friendly conversation. It's my pleasure to adapt to budget and possibilities. Not as long as there are vibrant energizers like Laroo's crew playing. Her stage was small scale, but her performance was large. It was exactly the kind of thing that keeps jazz alive."
