Co-founded in 1998 by pianist Warren Byrd and bassist David Chevan, The Afro-Semitic Experience brings together jazz and improvisation with musical traditions rooted in the African and Jewish diasporas. With its message of “Unity in the Community,” the ensemble celebrates cultural connection through an energetic mix of grooves, traditions and contemporary jazz.
Saskia joins the ensemble on trumpet, with Warren Byrd on piano/keys, for this special Sunday afternoon concert.
