Hopefully everybody is doing well in the new year, I am doing great for sure!
I am proud to announce that I am an appointed Ambassador of the Red Light Jazzfestival 2018 in Amsterdam at the beginning of June where as well I will also perform with Jazzkia.
And just got the news that soon I can be heard on three new remixes of the song 'Feeling' by Dansor, released by her own label Comport Records. Previews on Soundcloud can be heard here via Soundcloud
But for now I am still in Hartford, CT - US currently weathering frequent cold snaps and occasional snow storms, a couple of which by this writing having prompted show cancellations...well, let's hope that this week's gigs with the Afro-Semitic Experience and with Duo Laroo-Byrd Funky4 will show on as planned--check for any changes on my Agenda!
Next week I am back in the Netherlands and I duly do hope that grievous winter will not tag along with us, because we have fab performances scheduled, among others, in the beautiful theater City of Wesopa with my Saskia Laroo Band on February 24th

Though many gloriful events are to happen this year, 2017 bears fond memories for me , a wonderful music year with performances in the Netherlands, Serbia, the US, and Jazz Meets Hip-Hop in South Korea, (of which you can see the video of the complete concert here )
